I work primarily in Media Studies and Media Policy, although I have also taught courses in the field of law. I have worked at the University of Ottawa, at Queen’s University, and as a private tutor.
My passion, which is heavily influenced by my experience at the Faculty of Law (Queen’s University), is student support. I believe that all students have the capacity to succeed and that post-secondary institutions should provide them with the services, opportunities, skills, and knowledge to do so. Mentoring and tutoring programs, writing and research workshops, career development and planning sessions, and experiential learning opportunities are just some of the initiatives that I think should be available and promoted to undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students.
